By using its 3-axis toolhead, the machine has the capability to mill Printed Circuits and carve 3D shapes. The main feature of the device is its capability to be incorporated in an office setup. The Othermill Pro is sufficiently little to fit on a desktop, soundless enough to feature in a social workplace and can hasten production processes by creating in-house in lieu of contracting out.

As well as hardware devices, the Berkeley firm has additionally created its own Otherplan software for the CNC machines. Bre Pettis says he is “thrilled” to purchase Other Machine as,

The Othermill Pro is definitely an beautiful milling machine which is so exact that electrical engineers can mill Printed Circuits with 6 mil traces and create Printed Circuits faster than a Printed Circuit service. I’m fired up to return in the arena assisting innovators.
